Analyze has been tested to run painlessly on the following hardware platforms:

1. IBM workstations and IBM SP2 (use xlf to compile the source). The
   corresponding makefile is Makefile_AIX.

2. SUN workstations and the E family servers. The corresponding makefile
   is Makefile_SunOS.

3. The program does not run well on SGI platforms; in the case of larger jobs
   might crash with "segmentation violation" message for no apparent reason.
   The corresponding makefile is Makefile_SGI.

4. Pentium machines running RedHat Linux. The makefile is Makefile_Linux.

No tests were performed on other hardware platforms.
